LHS Residency Verification for 2022-23
What is Residency Verification?
Each year, all students of Leeds City Schools must provide documents before starting school to show that they reside within the Leeds City Schools District.
When is Residency Verification at LHS?
- Our office is open Monday-Thursday from 9-3. You do not need an appointment to verify your residency.
What items do I need to bring or send via email?
For returning students, you will need to only provide the 2 proofs of residency listed below. Please remember to include your child’s name and grade level if you email your proofs. Documents can be emailed to email@example.com.
- Returning students: 2 current utility bills (Water, Gas, Sewer, or Power) that show the physical address and parent/guardian name. We cannot accept cable, internet, cell phone, or other bills. If the guardian does not own or lease the residence, then a third party form must accompany the above documents with the owner’s name and physical address. Third-Party Residency Forms must be notarized and the guardian must provide any mail with the guardian’s name and physical address on it.
- Students who are new to Leeds City Schools: Please call our school or email firstname.lastname@example.org for enrollment information. Your documents will be collected during enrollment.
